Farley Johansson & Shannon Moreno

Science Friction is a Canadian contemporary dance company established in 2003 by Co-Artistic Directors, Shannon Moreno and Farley Johansson.

The creations of Science Friction range from outdoor site-specific, film, small stages and informal showings to full theatre presentations, incorporating other artists in the creative process.

Science Friction has toured through Europe, British Columbia and Brazil performing, creating and teaching workshops in contemporary dance, Ballet and partnering work.

The company was awarded the 2nd place and the Audience's Choice for the duet "Lie with me" at the Choreographic competition in Belgrade, Serbia and has been commissioned to create a new work for the Osnabruck Tanz Theater in June 2011.
