Ivan Thorley

Ivan Thorley (UK) is a performer and maker of work specializing in movement, performance, puppetry and technology.

Ivan has performed, collaborated and toured with a diverse range of companies including Blind Summit Theatre, Harminda Judge, Tom Marshman, Federico Reuben, Shunt, Snuff Puppets, Peepshow Inc, Strange Fruit and Puppets with Guts, to venues and events such as the Barbican, the Pleasance, ICA, Arnolfini, the Blue Coat, The Place, Laban, Little Angel Theatre, Latitude Festival, the Brisbane International Festival, the BBC, and toured internationally across Europe, Asia, Middle East and America.

Ivan holds a Masters Degree in Digital Performance from Brunel University, a Postgraduate Degree in Animateuring and Bachelor of Dance degree both from the VCA in Melbourne, Australia.

Ivan also worked in the Graduate School at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance from 2009 to 2012.
