Biography

Zufit Simon (IL) trained both in Israel and Germany. Based in Berlin since 2003, Zufit has worked as a freelancer dancer and choreographer with Anja Hempel, Ingo Reulecke, Christoph Winkler, CobosMika-Company, Marco Santi, Fabian Chyle, Dieter Heitkamp and Cocoondance Company.

In 2004 she choreographed her first solo "fleischlos" and won the 3rd prize at the Euro Scene Competition.

In 2005 she was awarded with "das beste deutsche Tanzsolo“.

In 2006:

-She received the audience award with "diminuendo 2" (in cooperation with Ingo Reulecke) // Muenster (Germany)

-She choreographed the Duet "ADOM" for "'Tanztage" Berlin/Sophiensaele.

In 2007 Zufit created the duet "insich"

In 2008:

-Her creation "Meine Mischpuche" premiered at the festival "Tanz im August" Berlin

-"ADOM MODULATIONS" premiered at the "Tanznacht" festival berlin 

In 2009 „Meine Mischpuche" was rewarded with the third prize at the Hannover international choreographic competition.
