Biography

Julia Giertz alias Frank Julie

Born in 1984, Julia trained at the Danish National School of Contemporary Dance in Copenhagen. She received several scholarships allowing her to further her knowledge in music (Julia is a mezzo soprano and has performed as a backing vocalist) and to participate in the project "The Mobiles"among other things.

She founded The Mob together with Emma-Cecilia Ajanki in 2007 and was granted an apprenticeship with Rosalind Goldberg the same year. In 2009, she also got an apprenticeship with the Danish Dance Theatre (DDT).
