Withstanding The Wall of Gender, a cry for equal rights
In Mexico the struggle to create equal opportunities for both genders is a current and unsolved ongoing battle. Gender roles created by society maintain strong stereotypes which are translated into limits that block peoples opportunities. Life presents a dialogue between two beings who unconsciously try to bring down the wall which impedes them to experience a real integration with society.
Life was awarded “Best Original Piece” at the Premio Culiacán de Coreografía Héctor Chávez 2013, Mexico
