Lander Patrick

Lander Patrick has been suffering with chronic asthma since moving from Brazil to Portugal in 1989, the year he was born. Lander joined the volleyball league to shot off the disease, eventually graduating in dance.

He currently lives in Lisbon and has worked throughout the world with people he admires: Luís Guerra, Tomaz Simatovic, Marcelo Evelin, Alejandro Ahmed, Margarida Bettencourt, Jonas Lopes  among others. Lander has also received two awards in choreography: the 1st prize at KFM (SRB) with the piece "Noodles Never Break When Boiled" and the 2nd prize at the "No  Ballet" Competition in Ludwigshafen (D) with "Cascas d'OvO/Eggshells". These prizes motivated him to engage in choreographic creations rather than working in a call center.

Lander has presented his own pieces as well as his collaborative work in Portugal , Italy, Austria, USA, Germany, Brazil, Netherlands and Serbia. He lives in a camper van with his beloved one and believes that vegetarianism contributes to a prolonged existence of the planet.
