Tommy Noonan
Tommy Noonan (USA) holds a B.A. in English from Vassar College, USA. In 2006 he was awarded a DanceWEB scholarship in Vienna. Between 2006 and 2010 he has been based in Freiburg, Germany, directing as well as performing as an actor and dancer with “physical virus collective” - Theater Freiburg.
He has also been active in helping to co-found the international artist network and project: Sweet and Tender Collaborations. His work has been performed in Germany, France, Portugal, United States, Poland and Mexico.
He has written texts for publication in Revisita Obscena (Portugal), the Freies Theater Journal (Austria) and the Performance Journal (New York City).
In 2008 he was a finalist for the Rolex Mentor and Protogé Arts Initiative with Jirí Kylian in the field of Dance; in the summer of 2009 he was invited to be a contributor to Forum PRISMA in Mexico City.
