Álvaro Esteban

After qualifying as a sports masseur and graduated from the polytechnic university of Madrid, Álvaro Estaban (ES) joined the Royal Conservatoire of Professional Dance in Madrid and completed his 5 year studies in contemporary dance in 2006.

 


After graduating in 2006 Álvaro started working in various Spanish dance companies (CentroCoreográficoGalego, 
TenerifeDanzaLab, Larumbe Danza, Trasdanza) dancing for choreographers such as Chevi Muraday, 
Teresa Nieto, Olga Cobos&Peter Mika, Roberto Olivan and Cisco Aznar.

 

In 2010 Álvaro joined the Daniel Abreu company and collaborated on the productions “Otros rostros...” and “Animal”. 
He also worked with Cisco Aznar for the opera “Dido&Aeneas” at the Lausanne 
Ópera House and Carmen Werner for the opera Macbeth at the Teatro Real de Madrid.

 

Álvaro can also be seen in the films “Los 
dos lados de la cama” and “Fados”, directed by Emilio M. Lázaro and Carlos Saura and choreographed 
by Pedro Bërdayes and Patrick de Bana.
