Athanasia Kanellopoulou

Athanasia Kanellopoulou studied both at the Rambert school of ballet and contemporary dance in London and at the Martha Graham School in New York.

She has danced with many contemporary companies all over Europe such as the Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch (2002-2008), Les Ballets C de la B –Koen Augustihn (2008-2010), Jasmin Vardimon Company (2006-2008), Cocoondance (2010-2011),Tanztheater Osnabrueck (2003-2005) and as well in productions of Lior Lev, Guy Weissman, Rami Levi, Jossi Berg, Iker Gomez, Zeynep Tanbay etc.

Her own choreographic work has been presented in different festivals: the International Festival NRW of Pina Bausch, Athens Festival, 3rd Bonn Dance Solo Festival, 14th Solo Tanz Festival Stuttgart among others.
