Karline Marion (FR)

Karline Marion studies dance at the conservatory of Annecy. In 1995 she joins the Ballet de Nancy and then from 1997 to 2008 she is soloist of the Béjart Ballet Lausanne. In 2008 Karline decides to leave Switzerland and joins the Lyon Opera Ballet. There she works with choreographers such as Ohad Naharin, William Forsythe, Maguy Marin, Jiri Kylian, Trisha Brown, Merce Cunningham, Odile Duboc amongst others… Since August 2014, she has been working as a freelance artist. Alongside creating and performing, Karline turns towards education and teaches in different institutions such as the CNSMD de Lyon and the Centre National de la Danse. Since 2015, Karline Marion has been a member of the international dance council, UNESCO.
