The Mob & Frank Julie

In 2007 Emma-Cecilia Ajanki and Julia Giertz (DK) created the Mob & Frank Julie. The two young women with multiple skills (mezzo soprano, composer, thereminist, karate, swimming) both trained as dancers at the Danish National School of Contemporary Dance in Copenhagen.

The Mob & Frank Julie present a mix of electro acoustic live music & contemporary dance. The duo has been performing in Sweden & Denmark and have already performed on a variety of stage: everything from Dance festivals to Copenhagen Jazz Festival. Julia, alias Frank Julie sings and plays her songs while Emma-Cecilia do whatever she can to assist. Sometimes she dances, sometimes she eats.
