Dr. Uwe Kästner

Dr. Uwe Kästner develops concepts for projects in dance, theater and entertainment. Together with Katarina Witt and American choreographer Lea Ann Miller he participated in the development and realization of several tv and live productions (Kisses on Ice, Las Vegas, USA 2001, NBC; Summer Night On Ice, Leipzig 2001, ARD; Divas On Ice, Trenton, USA 2001, 2002, NBC; Enjoy The Stars, Nürnberg, 2003, Riesa 2004, ARD; Katarina Witt – Meine Abschiedstournee, Germany 2008, Pro7).

He was also responsible for several dance projects such as the American artist collaboration „murmur machine“ (Kesselhaus, Berlin 2002) and Clint Lutes’ solo production „Santa Maria Effekt“ (Dock11, Berlin 2005). 

In 2010 he founded bug&pug partners together with Romain Guion to support companies and individuals in the realization of their goals through artistic and creative guidance.

Dr. Uwe Kästner has practiced as specialist for orthopedics and traumatology in Berlin since 2001.
