Biography

Born in 1987 in Sweden, Emma-Cecilia trained at the Danish National School of Contemporary Dance in Copenhagen. She was the recipient of many scholarships which allowed her to initiate and to co-produce The Mobiles, a band/art collective, to make the film "Om hun er virkelig" and to travel to France with the Mob.

She was also an apprentice with Skanes Danstheater (Malmö) in 2007 and the Recoil Performance Group in 2009.

Together with Julia Giertz, they created the Mob in 2007. Among other things, Emma-Cecilia also trained in karate, swimming, cello and drama.
