Sagi Gross

 

 

 

Sagi Gross (Israel / NL) studied at The Dutch National Ballet Academy in Amsterdam, Bat-Dor dance Academy and Tellma Yellin high school for the arts in Tel-aviv. During his study years he won five scholarships for both Choreography and Dancing.

As a dancer he worked with companies such as Bat-Dor Dance company, The Israeli Opera house, ‘Dede Dance’ company, The Netherlands Opera House, De Dutch Don't Dance Division, and Resextansa. 

As a choreographer, Sagi has produced over 35 pieces full and short lengths in The Netherlands, Switzerland, Germany, Austria and Israel. In 2008 he took part in SiWiC choreographic project, Switzerland under the leadership of Jochen Heckmann. His teachingexperience includes SEAD - Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance, Marameo in Berlin and the Thellma Yellin school of the arts in Tel-aviv.

In 2011 Gross and his company are invited for a residency and performances in Puglia in the south of Italy. He is also invited to perform in The Busan International Dance Festival in South Korea and will perform as well in DOCK11 in Berlin.
