LUCKY TRIMMER #12

After LUCKY Dance Swap at TANZ IM AUGUST 2007 our next endeavor is to present LUCKY TRIMMER Dance Performance Series #12 with pieces from 9 young choreographers. We promise spicy and multifaceted insights into the current dance scene in Berlin. Moreover, there is an additional program to the shows for the first time:
LUCKY TRIMMER Film Presentation: DANCE FOR ALL

On the night before the shows the documentary DANCE FOR ALL (about a dance project in Cape Town) will be shown at the Goldener Saal (Directed by: Elena Bromund, Viviana Blumenschein).   

 
LUCKY TRIMMER Coaching – FEEDBACK PLEASE: Yael Schell and Maya Lipsker offer Coaching Workshops for free. Young choreographers can bring their current projects and receive feedback from these professionals in the Berlin dance scene.

LUCKY TRIMMER Professional Training Class: Clint Lutes – Choreographer, dancer and co-founder of LUCKY TRIMMER – offers Classes for professional dancers, accessed and influenced by physical forms including contemporary dance, ballet and improvisation techniques, as well as 'body work' philosophies.

LUCKY TRIMMER is a novel form of presentation for contemporary dance. Our goal is to give as many local and international choreographers as possible a regular and cost-free platform for their ideas, and to offer the Berlin public a wider diversity within the local dance scene. The casual cabaret atmosphere facilitates easy exchange between contemporary dance artists and their audiences. LUCKY TRIMMER would like to contribute to further the establishment of a „Dance Community“ in Berlin and pursues no commercial interests.
