The Child Mind

The media and print presentation of LUCKY TRIMMER has evolved using ideas drawn from the playfulness of a child's mind.  The concept is characterized by a lack of fear and expectation, the ability to lose one's self in the creative process, learning through play and experimentation. By fostering the child mind, LUCKY TRIMMER injects wonder, humor and risk-taking into our approach - benefiting both the artists and audience with new visions of possibility.  

Our advertising design has been developed around this idea of the child mind, building our brand to illuminate this spirit that has become part of the LUCKY TRIMMER namesake. The advertising approach celebrates this time we have as kids, BEFORE logic and rationalism and fear are impressed upon us. Like each show in the series, each flyer is different – cheerfully building up the idea of what LUCKY TRIMMER can be. We make a space for excellent, under-represented ideas to reach an audience - fueled by  child-minded inventiveness and sprinkled with the wisdom of experience. We are always professional but don’t claim to be experts. Much like kids, we are still making it up as we go along.

 

This memorable approach has helped us to establish ourselves as something unique and quite different to the other dance and performance festivals throughout Europe.
