LUCKY TRIMMER Celebrates our 5th Birthday!

The LUCKY TRIMMER Dance Performance Series celebrates 5 years of quietly potent revolution.

LUCKY TRIMMER presents short dance and performance pieces from around the world.  Eleven artists in eight pieces will complete an eventful evening for our 5th year anniversary performance at the Kunsthaus Tacheles. Each piece may not exceed 10 minutes in length. The artists descend on Berlin from Israel, Italy, Germany, Holland, Romania, Ukraine, U.S.A. The motley event ranges from Body Percussion to Full Contact Power, Cirque du Soleil Clownerie to dancing machines. LUCKY THINKING – Ideas and Inspiration from 5 years of LUCKY TRIMMER

On the evening preceding the shows comes LUCKY THINKING, a new format presenting 5 years of LUCKY TRIMMER ideas and inspiration on stage. Speeches and presentations in the traditional 10-minute format allow the audience a peek in the minds and hearts of LUCKY TRIMMER’s Founders, Friends and Soul mates. How did it all begin? What were the breaking points, the stepping stones? What are the dreams and visions for the future of LUCKY TRIMMER? What’s up with the kids photos on the flyers?  LUCKY THINKING addresses strategies for alternative methods of production and networking, economic strategies without public funding, Identity Development, as well as autonomous work situations, and ideas for times of financial crises. We offer art lovers our inspirations and experiences and encourage a continuation in developing alternative methods of cooperation and connectivity in the arts.

Fr. 5.6. | 20:00 | Kunsthaus Tacheles, Goldener Saal, 1st Floor

Presentations in English – free entrance.
